Survey: Many Americans afraid to perform CPR

A new survey shows that only half of Americans can be counted on to perform CPR, mainly because they worry they could unintentionally injure the victim. Longtime CPR instructor Gustavo E. Flores, M.D. says it best: “If your patient is in… sudden cardiac arrest, there’s nothing you can do that can make him worse.”
